The long-awaited SpongeBob musical is now at JHop
JHop goes underwater as the new SpongeBob the Musical: Youth Edition play starts on April 29 and runs through May 1.
Doors will open to the fictional setting of Bikini Bottom at 6:00 as the show starts at 6:30 p.m.
The SpongeBob musical is 75 minutes of music and laughter as SpongeBob and his best friends Patrick Star and Sandy Cheeks team up to save their home from impending disaster. All the familiar characters from the hit Nickelodeon cartoon make appearances but expect some surprises along the way.
Around 70 students are involved in this production, making this one of the biggest productions on the JHop stage. Viewers will be treated with an excellent singing performance from the entire cast.
āDaddy Knows Best gives me goose bumps every time I listen to it. Iād also have to say the opening number is really good,ā cast member Penelope Higgins said.
Tickets to the SpongeBob Musical are $5.00 at the door or with an additional $2.18 service fee from ordering them from Eventbrite. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. All Pinellas County School students, kids under the age of five and JHop staff can attend for free.
