This week, Principal Britnee Scott made an unexpected visit to classrooms with a large box of donuts for teachers.
The surprise visit caught everyone’s attention and made the day feel a little more special. Ms. Scott passed out donuts to each teacher as appreciation for teachers working hard and always doing their best.
“I wanted to give the teachers just a small token of my appreciation for all the work they do and the love they pour into our school daily,” she said.
Ms. Scott delivered donuts during first period through second period. Students from the CJAM program took pictures of Ms. Scott and Mr. Parke to document the experience.

It was a nice reminder to have kindness and appreciation for everyone. Teachers said that they loved the snack and felt appreciated by the principal.
Though the visits were brief, the donuts and kind gestures were enough to make everyone smile.
Ms. Scott confirmed that she will do it again in the future because a few teachers were absent and they didn’t get to feel the joy spread across campus that day.
She also stated that she looked forward to it getting bigger and better with the team.
“You DONUT know how much we appreciate YOU,” Ms. Scott said.
