Popular children’s company Toys “R” Us is opening stores all over the country, but not in Florida.
After closing almost five years ago, the company – which was a large competitor to stores like Walmart and Target then filing for bankruptcy back in 2018 – is making a comeback for the holidays.
It announced last month that it was reopening about 30 stores and entering a partnership with Macy’s.
Ten stores are already open. Some of these stores are located in New Jersey, New York, Colorado, and California.
While the company is not opening stores in Florida at this time, you can still experience the nostalgia at Macy’s in local malls. Those locations in the Tampa Bay region are:
- Westfield Brandon: 638 Brandon Town Center Mall, Brandon
- Tyrone Square: 6901 22nd Avenue, St. Petersburg
- Westfield Citrus Park: 7801 Citrus Park Town Ctr, Tampa
- Westshore Plaza: 298 Westshore Plaza, Tampa
- Westfield Countryside: 27001 US highway 19 N, Clearwater
