Minecraft is a game of survival and strategy and only the best players will survive the mobs. 

1. The nether update adds mobs called piglins who are hostile to players who are not wearing at least one piece of golden armor. 

You can also trade or barter with piglins using gold if you drop gold around piglins they will steal it and drop random items. 

2. In certain biomes you can find a new block called nether gold that u can mine and get gold nuggets which you can craft into gold ingots using nine golden nuggets. 

3. If you are tired of plain-old diamond armor and tools if you go mining in the nether at y coordinates 13-15 You can find ancient debris a new ore stronger than diamond. 

You can combine the ingot with diamond gear. 

4. In the nether update comes a variety of different biomes and structures, one of them being the bastion remnant. 

These structures are the headquarters of the piglins these structures are dangerous and rewarding since the bastions have a very hostile version of the piglin call piglin brutes that are very hostile to players and beware are stronger and more durable then piglins that will attack players no matter if there wearing gold armor these mobs will not trade for gold either. 

In the bastion you can find a bunch of valuable things, the most common being gold, you can find loads of gold blocks around the bastion. 

Also, if you know where to look you can find chests that hold gold ingots, golden nuggets/iron nuggets, ancient debris and more. 

Also, if you explore long enough, you can find different biomes one call the warp forest. 

The warp forest is a bluish forest that you can find if you explore long enough. 

The warp forest holds many resources including warped wood obtained from cutting the trees also enderman also spawn regularly around the forest, also you will commonly find warped fungi that when combined with a fishing pole will become a warp fungus on a stick.

With this “warped” fishing rod you can with the help of a saddle you can ride a new creatures called strider that are passive mobs that can walk fast on lava but are incredible slow on land. 

Another new biome is the crimson forest that is a reddish looking forest like the warp forest but red like I said these forests are like their bluish relatives they also have their own unique wood called crimson wood you will also find the native mob of the crimson forest spawn around called Hoglins these beasts are incredibly strong, durable, and fast when killed will drop uncooked porkchop or cooked if you use a fire aspect sword. 

Our next biome is the most annoying the soul sand valley because mostly its name’s sake soul sand as you should know soul sand is the most dangerous block mostly because the fact that when stepping on it reduces movement speed ridiculously insane this makes it dangerous when running from mobs, even though mobs also get affected but do the fact that skeletons spawn is soul sand valleys, and we all know the dangers of skeletons. Even with the constant danger of being gunned down by skeletons in the soul sand valleys it can be rewarding because of the amount of bone blocks that can be found. These are useful because bone blocks can be crafted into bone meals that can speed up plant growth, so these biomes are essential to making vast farms. 

The final biome added is the basalt deltas.

These places are dangerous since one wrong step you can be cooked alive in lava these areas should be avoided at all costs in my opinion because of how dangerous and useless they are and are just another obstacle in your way of finding the other useful biomes. But if you are down for the risk and need another unique block for their builds. You can adventure in and get yourself a load of basalt and blackstone blocks that make nice for nether theme builds.
