JHop business teacher Wendy Baschuk recently added a new title to her resume: author.
She published her first book, “After the Flood” in January. It’s a children’s coloring book about what happened after the biblical story of Noah’s Ark. The book encourages reading skills and creativity.
In addition to writing the book, Ms. Baschuk also illustrated it.
She plans to write more books and has already finished her second book, but it has not been published.
Ms. Baschuk says she has always liked to write but didn’t think she was good at it.

Another called the illustrations “vibrant.”
