Megan Kotsko is a former teacher who grew up with the dream of operating a children’s bookstore.
Her dream became a reality when she and her husband, Jason, opened the Story Garden on March 1.
Located at 832 14th Street North in Saint Petersburg, Story Garden features books for children through middle school, parenting books, and story time sessions.
Ms. Kotsko is a former teacher who taught kindergarten and first grade for 18 years.
Locally, she has taught at Bay Vista Fundamental and Bay Point elementary schools and Shorecrest Preparatory School.
Ms. Kotsko said she wants Story Garden to be more than a bookstore.
