The JHop Media Center has good news for those who enjoy books and love to read.
Julie Ball, the technology specialist, has reopened the center for scholars to check out reading materials.
Scholars can come to the media center before school to explore a variety of books including fantasy, romance, nonfiction and more.
According to Ms. Ball, you can check out up to three books at a time. If scholars have any overdue books, there is a limit to the number they can get.
There are no fines for overdue books. However, books must be returned. If they are not returned, it can affect your high school graduation.
Ms. Ball said 20 scholars came to the media center the day that book check outs returned. Each day since then, more have come. She is hoping to see that number grow.
She adds that there is a large book order coming in. Until then, she is focusing on reorganizing the media center.
