     Tom Brady is one of the NFL’s greatest quarterbacks. He retired Feb. 4, 2022. Tom Brady retired after 22 seasons with the NFL and at the age of 44. He is going to lose $16 million if he retires because he signed a two-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he only played for one year and was going to get paid $16 million dollars in the 2022 season. Tom Brady signed a one-day contract with the New England Patriots because he wanted to retire as a Patriot because he got seven super bowl wins with the Patriots. He retired from football because he was not sure he could continue to give “a 100% competitive commitment.”
